Founded in 1919, the Drumm Farm Center for Children mission is to provide stable, nurturing environments for children in foster care, keep siblings together, and inspire lifelong connections by being a resource for children and families.

Drumm’s vision is to help children in foster care build successful lives by being be the community’s premier foster and adoptive care resource center, providing a host of programs and services that support healthy forever family environments, psychological and physical well-being, and personal growth while minimizing frequent and disruptive placement transitions.

The vision of the Drumm Farmer’s Market Project is to engage and educate youth in every aspect of the business of farming, to grow food for Drumm families and the community, and to generate revenue and leverage resources to expand services to youth. The tradition of using the most of Drumm’s natural resources to teach life skills to the children it serves is very much alive today. Drumm Farmer’s Market staff and Drumm kids plant and harvest a 3-acre garden, care for small livestock and operate a seasonal Farmer’s Market.
